First time autoXing widebodied supercharged car :-)
Haven't autoX'd since like .. hrmm 2000? So I was "novice" today. Down in San Diego for work for a while, hit up the SCCA SoCal crew to join in today's AutoX hosted by club "SNAX".
MAJOR fun. Whoa. Forgot what it was all about till those tires started squealing around the corners and I popped out a cone or two :-).
Connived a friend driving a TT (exhaust, intake, FMIC, chip, coilovers, BBK) to run against me (supercharger, intake, exhaust, coilover, BBK, on 19x11 HEAVY wheels).. we're both on street tires so that made it interesting & slippery.
Pic of my car:

Pic of Tony's TT (NocTTurnal on the boards):

Thanks to Paul Chan (Paul_858 on the boards) for shooting the event, and some of our SoCalEuro friends who were instructors for riding along w/ each of us.
So: the results.
Ahmm first runs, 92 for Tony, 87 for me- the course was over a mile long! Qualcomm Stadium.
By the 3rd regular run: 84 for me, 80 for Tony. Yick... I can't LOSE to a TT! Ah the shame the shame...
Fun runs! Had the instructors drive our cars once, ahhhh big learning curve for the GwassHoppah Novices!
After instructors drove, we mixed it up a little:
Tony in the TT: 75.3 (?)
Christine in the TT: 75.6
Tony in the A4: 75.8 (but he drove PAST the last slalom, missing 5 turns!)
Christine in the A4: 75.3
Matt Kogan, instructor, in the A4: 73.5
What a blast!
Only some minor cone marks on the widebody, those *should* buff out.. or I'll be at the New Dimension & Dubwars shows with war wounds. Oh welllll.
:-)

I would just like to point out that the "official times" seem to show the cute little TT winning...
And I only missed that slalom because I ate a cone with your car and didn't want to risk another cone hitting that gorgeous widebody.
