Default How can I keep the A4 cool at Summer track events?

(This is kind of a repost from OT.) I installed an new FMIC and this past weekend at Streets of Willow where the temps were 95-105 degrees I could only run 2-3 laps without the water temp light coming on. Engine oil temp was coming up over 260 plus. I removed the front plate and added a bottle of water wetter and that seemed to help a little, but in order to make 25 minutes on the track it'll need some more help.
Here are some options I'm looking at:
1. Replace the OEM bumper with an RS4 type bumper for better air flow.
2. Run something like 90% water and water wetter rather than stock mix.
3. Remove air conditioning condenser from front of radiator. (last resort)
4. Larger radiator. No idea if one is available.
5. Oil cooler.
6. Aftermarket fan kit.
7. Water mister for intercooler and/or radiator.
My totally uneducated guess is that removing the A/C condenser would have the biggest impact. I can live without the A/C since this is a track only car but that will make it harder to go back to stock. And, it sure is nice to have A/c on those long rides home from Pahrump and Palmdale.
Pictures of setup below for those interested...

Any help would be appreciated!

Default I run

100% DI water with Water-wetter.

Oil cooler - yes
Remove A/C - yes
RS2 bumper - probably not much gain - guessing here, depends on where you are blocking flow.
Home-made grill insert to get rid of rings - sure
Fan kit - draws power - I only turn mine on after a stage, they'll blow less air than is being forced in the front

What viscosity oil are you running? Maybe go for a race synthetic that may be a notch thinner?

Wrap exhaust? I lost a lot of heat when I wrapped mine down to the flange.

Mine used to get so hot, you couldn't touch the hood after running just a short while, it's a bit better now.

Default track car only?

My suggestions.
Rather than buy a new RS4 bumper cover. Get a 2nd bumper cover and cut holes in it much like an audisport grill and add some wire mesh. The fiberglass up an air dam to the lower lip to pull some air up into the engine then repaint. Your intercooler is only getting 50% exposure right now. With this new grill it'll be near 100% exposure with a bolt on grill that you can interchange with the stock one for track days.

Then remove your true metal bumper. Its just more weight up front.

Remove the AC! Or at least the condenser and cap the lines or short circuit the lines with proper hose.

A good oil cooler will help alot. Latent heat in the oil could be a real problem. I would do the oil cooler first (Cause you should have one irregardless), and then the front bumper mod.

One other thing, If you're really hardcore... Get a 2nd hood and cut holes in it. Another fairly simple bolt on track mod.

Default hmmm, that you Jerry?

With my A4 after the FMIC I had very few issues with heat, even at those air temps, but when I got the S4 I immediately installed the oil cooler we made before tracking it at all. The car has only had heat issues once at Buttonwillow (when it was over boosting too) and even then not as hot as your car seems to be getting. I'd do oilcooler, better oil, and the bumper mod mentioned. Not sure if there's abetter radiator availble, but worth looking at. AC, I'dmiss it, but your car won't

Default Yep,

Hi Julie. Thanks for the input. I'm going to have a intercooler/radiator mister installed next week using the headlight washer pump and reservoir, then add an oil cooler and open up the bumper. I'm looking for a used carbon fiber hood with vents too. (There is a guy in SD that wants to trade but he keeps flaking on the deal.) Plus the water wetter.
What oil? I have always run what AWE recommends, 15w-50 Mobil 1 year round.

There's a group buy on oil coolers from Achtuning in the Group Buy forum.

Default A quibble.

There's no latent heat in the oil, unless he's literally boiling it, and has to condense it. Sorry, that's my early thermodynamics and heat transfer training coming out. Carry on.
