Default Should be on only tiny yellow Civic hatch back. BTW A few of us rode with Roger in THILL ...

in his EVO. Heck I bought my first wheels from Roger back in 1987 Nice guy!

I think you meant to say that the FACTORY teams have a huge advantage. Privateers are doing this from thier own pockets and have to try to get sponsors to help out. WIthout a lot of money you are very limited in how much you can improve your car and buy spares.
Factory teams get factory support, parts and money. A LOT of it. Audi gives the Champion group something like $50k per race!
Privateers that can make a car even remotely competitive with a Fcatory team are rare.
