The slantnose Pinto is history. I have decided racing is getting too expensive and am getting out. At least for a couple of years. And when I do come back it will probably be more into the AutoX scene rather than dirt oval.
It was really becoming more like work than fun to me. We had won races at every track we had run at, plus won the 2000 Louisiana State Dirt Track Championship. We have nothing else to prove to ourselves or the guys we race against. So, I'm history until the itch comes back.
One more pic to say Goodbye to my car!

You'll need the buzz again. Maybe not next year, maybe not on dirt, maybe not on 4 wheels, but you'll be back. I've tried to 'retire' before. It never lasts long.
