Default Before tossing down $5K+

Try to find someone near you with the 6 piston AP Racing kit... you just might end up saving yourself a ****load of money.

I was reading up on the 6-pots, did you upgrade your Master Cylindar?

Default She did not upgrade the master cylinder.

In fact, Cathleen was running the 6-pots and the 2-pot R-Types in the rear with the stock master cylinder without any problem (on her 96 12V A4).

Default Water misters...

Sorry it took so long to respond, Kevin.

Yeah, the misters would be cool, but first I have to put cooling ducts on the car for those track days. The hard part will be routing the hose and attaching it to the hub.

If I add a mister later, I'd probably rig it up with an electric fuel pump and a relay or something that would only turn on the water when the brake pedal is depressed. Where the water resevoir goes, I dunno. Perhaps just the windshield washer fluid. Then I have a built in alarm that will tell me when the water is almost gone!! :-)
