Last SCCA AutoX of the year in SoCal on the 17th
And it will be at California Speedway! But in the parking lot, not the track.
There is a HUGE crowd expected, and so to get all the points card holders able to run, TIME ONLY run entrants will be limited. First car out at 8:30AM!

Cal Speedway Solo II

I am confused...
I have done 3 autocrosses in NorCal, plan to do this one.
What are points card holders and what are TIME ONLY run entrants?
Basically I am a rookie and probably in the Modified class with my chip. So can I run on Sunday?
Thanks.
Sachin

Re: I am confused...
Points Card holders are those of us who are in real competition with each other for year end trophy points. The card has our reserved car # on it to help better keep track of these points. We take priority over time only runs.
Time Only are folks who don't care what position they place in - they are just there to try this out, or plain have fun. But as we have had over 250+ folks at the last event (and it continued on after it got dark), we have to limit this at this event to let those in a points race get their runs in fairly to each other.
Yes, you can run Sunday - with your mods, you could probably run in either STU or SM class. You could try CSP like Corey if you want too. Check the schedule when which class is running, and get there BEFORE that so as to be able to walk the course.
