Default As the former owner of a VW on R-compund tires, I disagree. However, it DOES...

...take a little common sense and lots of personal restraint to drive one safely in an autocross. Obviously, neither of these traits are common in a novice. If you look closely at the other pictures in his albums, you'll notice the big "N" on his rear windows.....

Default That's a pretty big however ; )

The top heavy nature, the very short stock travel and the abrupt transition to the bumpstop kills the beginners. But this DOESN"T happen consistantly to any other make that I have seen.
