Hey all,
I am planning to goto Sebring for the 12 hr race this year. I've never been there, and I would like to ask if anyone can share some of your favorite spots to take race pictures.
Which corners are best, and at what time? I would not have any media credentials, so I'll need to avoid fences as much as possible. My reach is only up to 300mm as well.
Thanks in advance,
Matt

The area at the beginning of the pit straight, right after the mobile 1 bridge at sunset. There are some bright flourescent lights there, which can make for some cool-looking panning shots:
The pit straight, after the pits, is pretty good for standard panning shots during the day.
If you have a 300, you'll also be able to do pretty well by standing on any of the raised berms for spectators; most of the important corners have them.
At night, the corner by the Chateau (don't remember the name) is a great place to see brake rotors glowing bright red.
