A metallic yellow - up close you could really see the flecks in the paint..
yeah it had a <a href=http://www.taner.net/pics/autox/20000813/?M-p8130050.jpg>boo-boo on the driver's side door/fender area</a> :-(
I only watched his first run, where he got a 42.5 - which appears to be his best time... I don't know if he didn't know how to drive the car well or what, but.. *shrug*

I was at Thunderhill about a month back and this guy was there. It was only two weeks old when he brought it to the track, and it had the yellow tape on it. Turns out that the second day he had it, he was driving around his neighborhood to get some miles on it before the track event, and a guy in a toyota hit him. Sucks, since it's not street legal, and I doubt that any insurance would cover it. But I guess if you can buy a $55,000 track car (plus a truck and trailer to get it to that track), you can afford to get a little fiberglass repair done on your car.
By the way, he was ******* a F355 Ferrari all day at Thunderhill. Not too shabby for 180 hp. The thing only weighs around 1600lbs.
