Well, this proves that not everyone can make the transition from open wheel.
Which, IMO, makes Montoya's talent stand out. Scott Speed is showing signs of life in undercard events. And let's remember, Stewart, Kahne, and several others came from various open wheel series.

Chip has been moving his crew chiefs around between all the teams. And none of them are working well together. Reed Sorenson had a pretty good year last season, but has been crap this year. It's the teams, and how they're put together.
In the end, it's Chip who has hired all these people. So I lay the blame 100% on his shoulders for his teams' poor performance this season.

True. Ganassi's been off the pace almost all season, expect for Talladega, which JPM
almost won. JP was openly critical when Chip fired his crew chief, so there may be a further shakeup in the group before the season is over.
