Something rotten in ACNA-land....
#23
they're referring to all their track events as auto-x. the thing that puzzles me...
is the ""expenses paid for chapters. i know here in SoCal, we have never seen any financial assistance except for once when Nationals kicked in some money for us to sponsor some big car show. other than that, i don't understand what expenses they've paid for other chapters.

they did grant the North Atlantic chapter a bit of money, and loaned us a bit more, to start up.
I don't think that's the issue though... each chapter files through national. So perhaps they're summing the expenses from each chapter? ACNA doesn't run many events at the national level.
Just a thought...
Just a thought...

My reference is to ACNA as the teapot. I'm not denegrating the substance of the dispute, just...
... that we should have such politicking and self-dealing in an organization founded solely for fun and enjoyment.

Absolutely correcto mundo. This si suppsed to be fun, and a opportunity for those
with similar interest to exchange ideas, mods, etc, kinda like an extention of AW. Politics have no place here, but some is inevitable. What is happening now apparently, has crossed that line, and in the interest of the members as a whole, needs to be snipped before causing permanent damage and bad feelings. What they have (apparently) done to Pobst, or misappriating funds, is dead wrong. I'm sure the Porsche and BMW group is laughing their heads off over this rubbish.
