who has actually driven in F1, and Matchett was a Benneton mechanic when Schu started. They make a great team. I can't even imagine an F1 broadcast without Varsha, anymore than I can imagine the Dodgers without Vin Scully. I also started with listening to Varsh on ESPN. I liked it much better when they were actually at the track though.

...was pure comedy GENIOUS!!! As in, it was comical to watch and listen to them try to do a good job. They always contradicted each other. It was great!

announcing...I watched him rehearse his lines before a broadcast...it was painful....some drivers are just not meant to be TV guys. And for that matter...there are a lot of women who shouldn't either..their voices are too high pitch to carry well.
