It seems that I may have acquired a sponsor that would be willing to make it "easier" for me to afford to run one. Not definate yet but I may be looking in the range of $10,000, I figure that should get a well sorted reliable car with some spares.

but I have been reading that the 1.6's are the cars to have, what's your take on that? As 1.6's dissapear do you think it would be better to go with a 1.8? If this happens I want to take it far, like do all the eastern races for the miata cup in '06 and go after the NEdiv championship (which now that the class is national, it means RUNOFFS!)
