Default Steve S, do you know of any good, well sorted SM's for sale?

It seems that I may have acquired a sponsor that would be willing to make it "easier" for me to afford to run one. Not definate yet but I may be looking in the range of $10,000, I figure that should get a well sorted reliable car with some spares.

Default don't know but seems like but this might be a good resource...

since the cars for sale would probably be known in the community and have some verifyable history

http://www.specmiata.com/Classifieds/</a

Default I personally know of at least 10 in the bay area...in the $8.9 - 13.5K range

Some street registered..some top 10 finishers...all SCCA legal last year. Email me and I can hook you up with them...

Default Here is one in Washington..(the guy just moved from NorCal)

He has dropped his pricing from $12.9K to $10K..I think he is firm at $10K now..or at least that is what he told me.

Paul Barnam...I use to race with him in NorCal (clicky here)

Default Thanks, I'll let you know if this goes through...

right now we are in the talking phase. I'm looking for a top 10 finisher, don't need to drive on the street.

Default That car has a really nice looking cage, and it seems that he finished high....

but I have been reading that the 1.6's are the cars to have, what's your take on that? As 1.6's dissapear do you think it would be better to go with a 1.8? If this happens I want to take it far, like do all the eastern races for the miata cup in '06 and go after the NEdiv championship (which now that the class is national, it means RUNOFFS!)
