I know some run them on the street too, just wondering how long a set will last if they get driven on the street between events.

I've driven to vegas 800mi, twice to willow springs, 320mi + street driving, I'd say I have 1,500 miles on them, they're about 1/3 of they way worn out...
They SUCK at full depth on the track, they rubber is so soft, you get a TON of squirm, it feels like the suspension is loose until you get used to it!! It would be better to put a couple of thousand street miles on them first!

in the dry, they only recommend running the full depth for wet conditions.
In the dry, the extra squirm makes heat which wears them faster.
So even though there is less tread after shaving, they will last longer if run in the dry.

Never shaved them and ran 'em full depth. Flipped them after 11 days. Should have flipped them after 7 or 8 days. Probably could have gotten two more days out of them.
