Up Coming Track Event -- Looking for cheap solution to improve braking performance

I'm attending the QCUSA Driving/Safety school at Summit Point at the end of the month, and I'm looking for way to improve the stock braking (have the brakes last through the two-day event). I would love to try the Alcons, but don't think they would arrive in time.
Currently, I'm looking at a pad and fluid swap (Porterfield R4 pads and a higher temperature brake fluid). Does anyone know the part number and price of these pads or have any other solution.
When purchasing the pads should I just get the front pads or both front and rear pads.
2000 Nogaro S4

While this isn't an alternative to a proper big brake set up (ala Alcon), the Porterfield R4s are much improved over the stock brakes in terms of grabbiness (is that a word?) and stopping distance. They're great at the autocross where we aren't permitted the big brakes in street prepared. I run them on the street as well, though you get some strange looks 'cause they are unbelieveably squeally. They seem to wear really well (after both autocross and track events) with the stock rotors, too; though, Steve S went through a set of R4's with some aftermarket rotors recently.
I've also put in stainless steel lines and Motul 600 fluid which I'd also recommend for any performance driving.
Sharon

I would swap front and back. The braking system loads the rears up at higher speeds. Be sure to get good fluid. The advantage to swap and bleed is that you can carefully check lines and the suspension carefully before and after events.
I really like the R4S for street, but the R4 is too hot for ax-just fine for track. A good compromise is the Pagid, my new favorite pad. Works in the cold and honks on the track. Quieter than the R4, but rattly in my calipers.

Work great on my Porsche 993 when braking from 140 MPH on Watkins Glen back straight. Have also gotten about 4 track events out of them and they're wearing great. Squeal is atrocious, however - but that is the case for any track compound I've tried.
They're available from O. G. Racing (www.ogracing.com I think)
