Default They also had a '69 Gurney Eagle w/ a turbo Ford 4 cam V8!

I think it was the engine developed by Foyt and Ford!!

Default Could that have been a Ford / Cosworth DFV ?

They were pretty common thru the 60's and 70's, both at Indianapolis and in F1.

Default Supposedly it was a joint development between Foyt and Ford for Indy..

4.2L DOHC, 180° crank (like a Cosworth), exhaust in the vee, later versions were turbo charged! The thing sounded like a V12, very smooth!

"Graham Hill proudly sits in his winning T90 on the Indianapolis main straight. Hill's car was fitted with the 4.2 litre Ford 4-cam V8."
