I had a blast this last weekend at the Streets of Willow Springs. First time on this track, first time on r-comp tires, and my first time on racing brake pads. They all combined to a great time.
I did go off the track a few times, but they were all pretty easy off's in the dirt. Check the highlights reel for video of those.
After looking at the video, I see a few places where I can either tighten up or take a whole different line to gain a second or two. Video is definitely a great learning tool.

That vette driver needs help. You need to get your oversteer corrections down... I usually give myself one shot to correct, otherwise drive off straight, especially on a track with that much runoff. Always go off straight with wheels straight.
My car is about at the same mod-level as yours, odd that you have that much oversteer. I have to resort to tricks to get it to rotate: lift, brake, shift, rear-biased pressures, etc.
Are you going to be out at Buttonwillow in Sept w/ ACNA? If so I'll catch up to you then.

I have not done any ACNA events yet, only Speed Ventures, so I'd like to see how some other groups are running.
I have been doing pretty good correcting oversteer throughout the weekend but those two big ones just got away from me. One of the instructors even complemented me on my car control skills. But the plan of one correction then straight off sound like a good one. I'll keep that in mind next time.
The oversteer might have been due to the tires. The rears were starting to blister and loose pieces of rubber. I was on some older used Dunlop r-comp tires that came on my used wheels. I wanted to try to get a few days out of them before they died and it looks like I did. Fresh Nitto NT-01's going on tomorrow.
With the exception of a few overseer events, the car was pretty well balanced, especially in the longer sweeping turns. Overall a fun weekend and I can't wait to get out on the track again.

I just know that if I'd rather go off under control. Than fight the tank-slap and risk going off sideways.
You won't see near as many "loose" cars on the track w/ ACNA.
