Vintage Audi Sport Jacket - Any Interest?
In cleaning out the garage I came across a box with several mementos, including a lightweight Audi Sport jacket from 1984.
This is the real deal -- cotton shell with a terry lining. German size 52 (medium/large). Large Audi Sport logo on the back, smaller one on the left chest. Some cool details like zip-off sleeves and a pen pocket on the left sleeve.
This jacket was given to me directly from the Audi Sport team wardrobe closet (in the basement of Audi Sport, which was in a converted grocery store at the time). This is exactly what team staff and drivers wore in the 1984 WRC.
Silly me, I was offered a winter jacket and took the lightweight instead!
I'm sure this jacket is of some interest to an Audi enthusiast somewhere. If anyone has any ideas where best to sell it and what a reasonable price to charge would be, please let me know.
