Default I'd skip if it's not the big course.

I don't see that track being very much fun without the oval.

Default I haven't driven on it, it's allot cheaper than the roval course.....

On the big course, that 1st. left turn into the infield looks spooky, you can see Mr. retaining wall waiting for you if you screw up!!
I figured I'd try the infield course 1st, it loooks allot tamer, am I wrong???
I don't want to face allot of walls coming out of corners if screw up!!

Default "not too hot"...

BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Actually the infield course is challenging.

You enter the garages down there on the left:

Default Well the only incident I've ever seen happened in the infield.

The only scary thing about the big track is entering the oval at speeds you're not used to going (over 160 in my case). Entering the infield, T3 and T4, is just a huge braking exercise. The only bad thing that can happen is you can over cook it and you have to run around the entire oval to get back on the track (not at speed of course). No walls come into play unless you really mess something up going through 8 which is a chicane. The facility is gorgeous and definitely worth the time and money.

I found the infield very slick and kept fighting the chassis in regards to air pressure and shock adjustments. The lower air pressures seemed to do more good, but T7 is still a PITA... off camber decreasing radius slick bastard of a turn. There are a couple chicanes which are fun and they have some great curbs to crawl.

Depending on your schedule and price difference, the speedventures event might fit the bill for you. Just be sure to pencil in the big track in the future; if you're a L.A. local you HAVE to run that track at some point. I'm sure you'll get there and just wish you could take a turn around the oval

Default My car's not very fast, I don't want to sit @ 6k on the front staight!!

My gearing is pretty short:6,000rpm is good for about 120mph, I'm afraid I'll thrash my engine running down the front straight @ that rpm all day!!! :-(
