I was thinking of getting an A3 to add to the stable, I was shocked to learn the little sucker weighs 3700 lbs! OMG, audi really knows how to fatten up a car.
Now I'm thinking a Brabus smart car will be my city scooter. My brotherinlaw in Europe has one and says its fun.

It's 200lbs lighter than the A3, but a whole heck of a lot smaller. It's like they built the chassis out of lead.
The Smart is a neat idea, but you're basically paying a premium just to be trendy. You spend a lot to get very little - except for the chic, faux-green image.

outweigh you by thousands of pounds. No thanks. I'd take my chances in a 'portly' A3. To me, the Smart car only makes sense as strictly a city driver or when surrounded by equally itty bitty cars.

There used to be stories of him driving around southern cali blowing the doors off of everything around in a stock looking bug.
