Default I started with 17' RS4 replicas ... then snub mount ... then suspension ... then chip

I think you will get more pleasure out of a suspension wheel/tire upgrade first then chip second.

Default chip -> suspension -> wheels/tires

then where ever you want to go from there.

Default If you want to make it go faster, make sure you can STOP as well...

So, I would recommend that you look into upgrading your brakes if you decide to go with a chip for more HP. But even before speed and brakes, I would recommend that you start with suspension upgrades first. Heavier duty sway bars (like H-sports) and performance springs and shocks will greatly enhance the performance of the car. Although it will not make the car go "faster" in a straight line, when the hell are we driving a straight line anyway??? Then, maybe consider brakes and an engine chip.

Of course, there are those that say "mod the driver first" which I was hoping to do via the local chapter of Audi Club of North America (see link for NAAC below). I could not make the driving event at NHIS, but then it got cancelled anyway due to flooding.

Enjoy your car!!!

Default I agree...suspension, brakes, THEN engine mods.

I got a chip first for my 1.8T, which made it abundantly clear that my suspension needed to be firmed up. Then wheels and tires, then brake upgrades, with little DIY engine mods the entire time. Mess with the turbo after you've done everything else.

This is the same philosophy I've taken with the GVR4 and I think it's moving along rather nicely, though my fiance and bank account would not agree with that statement ;^) I'm pulling the engine in a few weeks to replace some worn out stock items, like the timing belt and water pump, engine mounts, removing the balance shafts, etc.

Default Interesting... I've had no problems with stock brakes

BTW Ken that girl/guy selling Audi decals on ebay ripped me off. Apparently she/he was kicked off ebay so I won't have any replacements for you :[

I do have 3 stickers left however which I'd gladly return plus cash.

Default Maintainence, Chip, Suspension, Tint, Shortshifter, Ecodes, Wheels, BIG TURBO

It's up to you guy, but if I could do it all over again that would be the order.

Just make sure to do preventive maintainence.
