Alert - Laser fest on 95 between beantown and NH line
Five, yes five, laser traps with multiple chase cars last night. They are working all that nice new blacktop both north and southbound.
Either a special squad that rotates around or Mass State Police got some new goodies. btw, they appear to have an "instant on" feature.
Thank you Mr. Valetine.

Ive seen them there at least three times, real fun. It also looks like Wellesley Police picked up a
new gun that theyve been testing on Rt 9 East bound at the Dodge dealership. 3 cops Two chase cars. Saw it 4 times last week. Nothing beats the Valentine

yesterday on 495 south from NH to Boston...
they had 2 laser traps and then my radar kept beeping for like 10 mins and I couldn't see anything. I was like, "what the hell where is this coming from?" I look up and there is a freakin' helicopter making the rounds. Geez. I guess they are really trying to crack down on speeding.

Police aircraft don't measure your speed with radar...
They use a time distance method. Radar speed measurement only works when the radar beam is close to parallel with your direction of travel. It wouldn't work from above. (Same goes for LIDAR.)
In my experience those constant radar signals are usually due to someone behind or in front of me with a cheap badly shielded radar detector which leaks RF. With the Valentine One this is easy to figure out using the directional arrows.

I agree.
A stupid Chrysler Crossfire I was using as a rabbit one day kept sending out a damn X band to my V1, quite annoying. If you look on the pavement on certain highways youll notice big perpendicular white stripes where they can figure out your speed. The nice thing about the method is you can get off easy in court if they ticket you. Most judges dont like this method due to the poor accuracy if the timer messes up. .1 seconds can make a difference of 5-10 MPH. Definately hit up court if your pulled for one of these annoyances.

Re: Alert - Laser fest EXPLAINATION..............

Laser is a pulse of light, so its gonna be instant on and off and on again.......
PLUS: The Laser beam is 3'x 3' SQUARE @ 1,000 ft, so if the beam also hits your Valentine, consider yourself lucky.............
at 3/4 of a mile, they can see you and you can hear them....on occasion.
The "Sky timer" NH uses is a stop watch feature in a radar unit. The unit is either on stopwatch emiting NO radar and just user timing input, OR its got an antenna attached emitting K band radar.
VASCAR is a SIMILAR speed timing unit, however the difference between VASCAR and the Kustom Electronics HAWK and KR-11 is that VASCAR is a brand name and needs a speedo hook up to measure speed and distance. This way they can PACE you at will.
Kustom timers need predetermined (measured) distances into a thumbwheel to clock you by either watching you going through two "painted" lines, or pacing you through them. Kustom does things in yards so 1500 feet LIKE IN NH, is 500 (yards) on the thumb wheel......MAss or other 1/4 mile freaks would use 440 (yards) I think.
Now if this Kustom "stopwatch" unit is in a plane, its timing........ or emitting UNUSEFULL radar signal to slow down radar detector users for miles around.
NO WAY it can measure your speed by radar from the air................

four doppler units (2 of which are "timers")

The sky timer can't be that accurate.. Remember the motorcycle that got timed from a chopper
doing 205mph out west? Yea it was 205 until they figured out that there is no way for a stock CBR 900 to travel at speeds anywhere near that.
