Alignment and tire mounting needed in Waltham, MA area
I'm in need of an alignment and tire mounting. Can anyone recommend a great shop near Waltham? Last time I used the Tire Rack search they stuck with me with NTB and they did such a poor job mounting my tires and a great job destroying my rims that I got the job done for free... Any personal recommendations are appreciated.

Little Foreign Car Garage, on the Waltham/Belmont line. Highly recommended....
...for tire mounting and balancing. Been there countless times with never any issues with precious rims. They have a Hunter Road Force Balance machine, and do a great job.

Went there for tire mounting a couple months back. Won't be going back.
Way too expensive at $37.50/corner. I waited almost 3 hours for mounting and they ended up lightly scratching one of my new rims.

Yeah, I suppose different experiences for ALL places. For example...
...I had issues with Direct Tire while others have had no problems. Some have said NTB is great, but I would never take good rims there to have tires mounted on them.
Did the scratch happen at NTB in Waltham?

yes, that too, although...
...they were apparently unable to do my alignment, claiming that one of the tie rod ends in back was seized. Greg's Repair Service in Natick (where I usually service the car) was able to do the alignment no problem. It was not a seized bolt, but rather LFCG did not remove the saw bar to get at the triple-square bolt to make the necessary adjustment.
So, I would still recommend LFCG for your alignment, but if they claim any suspension parts require replacement, say "thanks, perhaps another time" and go to a different shop for a second opinion and the alignment.
After many many many wheels, I trust nobody else to mount tires, but somewhat on the fence about alignment.
