Default are you positive about that?

In my experience, every equipment ticket in massachusetts gets you points. You might have gotten off without points for a first ticket, but that's no different from speeding.

FWIW, I've gotten a written warning for having no front plate.

Default better yet: always have your glove box locked

I keep my registration in my wallet. There is no way a police officier is getting in my locked glove box without a warrant.

Default I did the same thing this summer as I still don't want to put holes in my S4 front bumper.

Avoiding giving reasons for a cop to pull you over is the best bet.

Default So if you lose your wallet, you lose your registration.

That's a bad idea.

Default Yup - that old turd doesn't even have an engine in it

I know, I checked! Popped the hood and saw nothing.

How did you manage to get green plates on it? Back when I bought my A4, I was told that I wasn't allowed to transfer my greens to it.

Default I was pulled over for no front plate

and was informed by the cop that it would affect my insurance premium. Not sure if he was just screwing with me but it sure wouldn't surprise me if it added to the premium with MA insurance :-/
