I was rear-ended in the snow this morning, leaving my back bumper in need of replacement. I had a body shop guy here in town that has done all my work in the past but for certain reasons I have decided to go elsewhere this time.
Any suggestions??

My dad backed my A4 into a wheelbarrow last fall, so I called up Klaus Euro to see who theyd reccomend for a bodyshop. They said they always reccomend Automotive Custom & Collision (603) 432-7100) on rt 28 in Derry, NH. They did a fabulous job fixing the dent and repainting the trunk. the car was ready when they said it was going to be, professional and clean. i'd go back to them with no hesitation.

I had them paint my whole car mainly because it's pearl, which is impossible to match, and I just wouldn't have been able to live with myself if I didn't.
That said, I was willing to pay out of pocket to paint what the Ins. company wouldn't cover after the deer hit. (rear doors, roof, truck, rear quarters, and rear bumper) The difference in price was a little over $2000, a huge amount of which was labor. Since I wanted it done correctly, I had them remove ALL of the glass, even the little opera windows at the c-pillar, and most importantly the door glass and frame/trim, which is well over an hour per door to remove on the C4 chassis. Other shops suggested taping off the glass, but admitted there would be a visible tape line up close. FineLines was right up front about what to expect for results using the different approaches.
So, Yes FineLines is expensive, but I'm kind of picky, and since mine is one of 631 S-cars produced for North America in 1993, it was worth it to me.
I think the shop is pretty local for ming.moro so that may help in his selection as well.
Best of luck,
Keith
