The short story is that my car was totaled through no fault of my own. I had many reciepts and invoices for all the parts I put into the car. It was mechanically perfect. Safety is constantly coming back with low offers for the car. A friend in the same situation with the same model vehicle got $3000 more for his car which was in worse shape and had higher mileage a year ago. He has a different insurance provider, but the same coverage. It's ridiculous.
Many of you here modify your vehicles, and you do it properly. Your cars are well taken care of, and tastefully modified. Safety doesn't care.
I'm switching from Safety to another provider. This has happend to me once before, and I hate dealing with their ****. The accident was not my fault - they should be fighting for me to get money from the lady's insurance that hit me.
Anyways, I'm HIGLY dissatisfied with Safety. They've really screwed me. I don't have the time or money to go into arbitration with them, hire an appraiser, and fight for more money. I'm forced to accept their lowball offer.

from the insurance co. and pay to have it repaired. Do't know if this would work for you but it is an option most poeple don't kow about, but it is possibe - I've done it myself and it worked out great.

They are not obligated to pay for mods. The person who is at fault is responsible and their insurance will pay for your value and mods. You should ile a claim DIRECTLY with this carrier.

there is no obigation to pay for them. most times, and in my experience, you go through your insurance company, and your company takes it to the other so you dont have to deal directly with them.
Maybe its a case of cialowicz's company not fighting hard enough, maybe the other lady's company is run by bastards, who knows.

Safety does suck, I am in the process of switching myself. This is something recent, they were always fair before hand, something happened in like the last year or two. Even the guys I know that own Body Shops concur.
