Default yes oh to well I know them, but you talking about the I-90 route not I-87

i went to school up in the north country...

If you head up 87 its not to bad, it does snow, head across the mtns and you hit alot of snow.
I-90 around 'cuse gets bad lake effect, and so does rochester, and i think everyone knows about buffalo.

Where exactly are you going?

Default Yes there is snow...

I had a girlfriend who went to school in upstate NY and would drive through there frequently. EVERY time I went there was a storm.

Default Cross over to Toronto through Niagara Falls. 90 to 87 to 290 to 190. I guess it is

87/90 according to google maps.

Default correct. Border crossing going to Canada is generally no issue, but remember to allow time for

crossing back into the US on your return - can frequently take over an hour.

Default It is the thruway in NY for about 10 minutes it merges together than splits.

But you are going basically 90 all the way from Boston to Buffalo, No snow issues, other than Lee, MA (very small area), until you get past Utica.

And make sure you have your radar detector, 90 in NY is insane for da fuzz!
