i went to school up in the north country...
If you head up 87 its not to bad, it does snow, head across the mtns and you hit alot of snow.
I-90 around 'cuse gets bad lake effect, and so does rochester, and i think everyone knows about buffalo.
Where exactly are you going?

But you are going basically 90 all the way from Boston to Buffalo, No snow issues, other than Lee, MA (very small area), until you get past Utica.
And make sure you have your radar detector, 90 in NY is insane for da fuzz!
