I bought a cd changer (8E0-035-111) for my RNS-E nav system, but it is not compatible with it. I want to test my nav w/ the following cd changers:
8E0-035-111 A
8E0-035-111 B
8E0-035-111 C
8E0-035-111 D
to figure out whether they work w/ the RNS-E nav. Anyone willing to help me in Natick, MA area?

I am not sure I want to take out my changer, since that means unhooking the DVD player I have as well, which is a PITA.

Which version of the RNS-E do you have? Are you sure you used the VAG COM properly to code the RNS-E for CD-changer capability???

Is your CD changer glove-box or trunk mounted? What car? A4, A6, other???

its a 02 A4 glovebox, I coded the RNS-E correctly, navplus.us says people have problem w/ that model

Why not just use the SD cards and give up on CD's ?

I have a RNSE in my A6 and I work out of Hopkinton. My round CDC cable in the trunk won't fit.

You'll need to find someone with the RNS-E in a B6/B7 with the glovebox CDC cable.

FYI - see navplus.us for details on your CDC. You need revision letter A-D for it to work with the RNS-E.
