Boost gauge wiring confusion. Any insight is appreciated.
I just installed my Podi w/ gauge but i am having a little wiring issue. I hooked up the power to the headlight switch (grey wire w/ blue stripe) and the ground to a common ground. In this configuration i get NO illumination of the gauage. No gauge illumination with the headlights on or off.
I then swapped the ground to the common ground i used for my radar detector. Now i get illumination, but once i turn the headlights on, the guage turns off. Just the opposite of what it is suppose to do.
Where did i go wrong?

where did you mount the gauge?
I found it easiest on my 2000 to tap the wires that light up the ac vent dials since those go on with the headlights and my gauge is mounted in a vent.
