Boston Audi owners like to challenge the Subaru LGT...
I love the fact my wagon is under the radar of everybody on the road...except for Audi owners, hehe. Over 3/4 of the folks that initiate a race these past two years have been Audi owners, and I'm curious as to why.
Couple of days before leaving for a business trip, had an unmarked first-gen A8 (I think) with some aftermarket work done try from a light a couple of times. Then after getting back from a business trip, first time in the car in two weeks, a first-gen A6 wagon does the ol' pace and WOT and repeat routine on the highway. Got a thumbs up from the A6 wagon folks in fact. Over the past two years it has been mostly A4s and S4s...
Audi owners the only non-Subaru folks that know about the LGT thanks to the AWD connection/somewhat similar market? Been told one too many times to check out a Subaru for their next car (hehe)? Audi owners especially auto-educated? I don't get it!

Some of those "A6" wagons can be pretty quick.

the recent ones
The sedan was on VFW Parkway heading towards JP. Unmarked, and I couldn't tell what Audi it was other than knowing it was an Audi. Looked like a cross in style between the older organic-looking 4000s and B5 A4. Did notice multiple pipes running into the exhaust can, not sure if that was stock or not.
The A6 wagon was the ubiquitous Audi green with I think three folks in it on Route 2 heading west from Cambridge.
I'm just curious as to why local Audi folks are picking on a rather bland looking Subaru wagon, hehe.
LGT is a daily driver, so no huge turbo yet. Sure many an Audi are faster, at least for now.
