Locke Ober is a classic place. U can't go wrong but be prepared to drop big $$$

Default Re: smith and wollensky is a cool place. Steaks are great. That's a chain too btw.

get the $20 banana split for dessert. Its ridiculous and could serve 3 or 4.

Abe and louies is good. Its also owned by the people that own joes American bar and grill and Atlantic fish co... Along with a couple others.

The oak room is good too, in Copley square.

If you've never been to the top of the hub in the pru you should try it. Food and service is good but the view is pretty awesome. Probably same prices as the rest of what you're looking at.
