Cayman S on the highway today

Was driving back from a client's house in Osterville today, Cayman S got behind me. Nice open road, 100-130 the entire way, guess he was going to Boston too.
My escort 9500 saved our behinds twice, state had speed trap setup. Luckily the pcar driver was perceptive enough to realize that me slowing down and pulling to the right meant SLOW DOWN.
Quick car, no doubt much lighter than the S6, I would pull away, albeit slowly, from him at speeds over 100.

The 9500 is great, I use it as well, but multiple tests...even when the drivers knew where and when the gun was going to go on, they were instructed to brake as soon as the Valentine or 8500 lit up, and they were nailed every single time with instant on. A smart cop, and you are toast. Fortunately, most of them zap every driver that flies by allowing the 9500 to pick them up a mile away, or keep the gun on. THe smart ones will wait for someone like you, and one quick zap it is all over. Just be careful. A watchful eye for me has always been better than any radar detector/laser jammer.
Sweet though, I'm guilty of it all the time. I break 100 on a daily basis..

definitely the most perfect sports car I've driven; I actually preferred it to the Elise. Straight line speed isn't that impressive but the grip, agility, and balance are incredible.
Careful with those speeds, esp. at this time of year -- some of the potholes I've seen on the interstates would send you onto your roof at 130mph.

not necessarily better than the watchful eye alone... I cant say how many times i've caught traps around corners or over a hill with the V1 / 8500x50 (<have one too). For me I do both, watchful eye and the radar. With friends in the car I'm always the first one to catch a cop hiding through bushes etc, but thats probably because im the one driving, but regardless i'm always on the lookout.

In that case, you take the ticket like a man and call in a favor... :-)
Worth the risk to enjoy the car, very clear and open conditions, good lighting, etc.

Thats a real complement to the Cayman Noah. My friend just picked one up, I need to drive it. I owned one of the first US elises and for you to say the cayman exceeds it in grip and agility is amazing.

Radar alone ddoesn't do it.
Very watchful eye, looking out for vulnerable spots, etc. My friends are amazed when I slow down and poof, there's smokey. I tell them I have a sixth sense for bacon!
