Searched the forums for hours instead of working today.
Can anyone recommend a decent Audi mechanic (private or business) in my area?
New Haven County in Connecticut
My A6 needs a new alternator, and I want to take it somewhere that can perform the work correctly.
Thank you.

I would be interested to find out places as well.
I have been driving by this place on Rt63 in Bethany called Nino Performance and he always has foreign gars outside. I have seen Audi's (A6. A4's) as well as Mercedes/BMW/Saab's VW's. Also i have seen some older Ferrari's Porsche, even a Lamborghini and an older Rolls Royce. So he seems to have a following. The only actual interaction I had with them is when I was changing my oil I had a hard time taking the filter out of the cap(it was attached quite tight). He helped me take it out in like 20 secs and he would not take money for it although I offered. I may have him do my next oil change or work on my VW cabrio or wife's SUV. I would love to support a local shop as long as they can do the job right...
But then I am open for suggestions in the greater New haven county as well.
Cheers
Nick

Not to close to Milford or New Haven, but excellent service, attitudes, pricing and obviously performance experience. I've been using them for 2 years now. B6 S4.

a friend recommended Pruven Performance in Milford. I heard good things about them for upgrades/mods as well as dyno runs, but didn't ever think of them as a repair shop. I'm very satisfied with their work. Great parts, great pricing, and great mechanics. What else do you need?
