Default If you have a loud system in the car, it helps to stop annoying vibrations/rattles.

It also eliminates some road noise, and give doors more of that nice heavy "thud" when you close them.

You seem like a performance-oriented guy tho...so get it the fvck out of there! Just extra weight.

Depends on how much you use. No way I'd add weight to my car willingly.

Default "36sq ft 10lbs"

I basically did this to my last car, took a good 5 hours just for the trunk, and metal "paper" cuts all over my hands/arms, etc. but makes HUGE difference. you put it on half your trunk lid, close the lid and use your fist to hit each half, its a difference of the sound of solid wood and a bongo ... lol

cuts out road noise as well as distortion from music, gives a stronger/cleaner hit from bass, everything is just more crisp over all. and if you want to think about it this way, the more good music you hear at a lower dB, the less you have to turn it up, meaning the more power you save, and thus the more gas you save. but then, you're adding about 20 lbs into the car, so that undoes it plus more anyways =)
but regardless, for 20lbs its worth it.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/718507.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/718507.phtml</a</li></ul>
