Default From talking to EPL, the answer is maybe. I asked about custom 1.8T software

and was told it depends on the setup... They were suppose to get back to me if they could do something for me, but never did. Needless to say i am going to have someone else do the custom tuning in January.

Default who is doing your tuning and what is your setup?

I was contemplating ditching my APR software/injectors for something else. I'd almost be interested in:

tuning of MAP sensor
ignoring rear 02 signal (for a test pipe when my APR cat cracks again)
ignoring the smog pump, so I can delete that

Default I am just K04'd. Nothing crazy, but the APR software is very conservative

The apr k04 software is very smooth, but i know with some massaging there is a little more power to be had. For some reason my car never boosts above 14-15psi no matter what gear and has less timing than other similar equiped cars i have vag'd. I have had a couple tech's check everything over and it just appears my software requests lower boost and less timing than other iterations.

I will tell you who is doing the software after i actually have results. Hopefully should be done in January. I just want to have some results before i say if it is better or not.

Default can you up the timing with lemmiwinks or unitronic?

as for boost, not sure what the sweet spot is for the k04.
