like many of us here, I live in an apartment with nowhere to wash the car. I just got a new black TT so dirt is a problem. I'm in brookline but travel all over the west side of the city. Any recommendations for a place that's least likely to mess the car up?

otherwise the place on cambridge street in allston is pretty good, can't remember the name but they have the "it's like a spa for your cah" ads.

can bring your own bucket and mit. I wouldn't use their brushes as they just sit on the ground. Try to go earlier in the morning or later at night so you're not holding anyone up by using your own bucket and mit.
If you want to roll through a car wash, Allston Car Wash (also a Mobil station) on Cambridge street is pretty good as well, I've used them a few times until I discovered the self wash bays on Market St Scrub a Dub (next to CompUSA which closed).

on gardner st. its the overflow parking lot for super 88 on weekends. my friend lives in the house with the lawn right next to it. if we are all outside the whole time, shouldnt be a problem with towing. there is a hose there and power outlets. im sure we wouldnt have that many people, prob less than 10, so it should be fine

All suggestions much appreciated. I may well take you up on the detailing offer though right now I am so excited by my car (a 3.2 black/black coupe) that I just want to play with it all the time, even for the wash
