Default Had my court hearing today...

A few of you may remember this. I got a continuance on both the criminal charge and the civil infraction. 1 year of no other criminal complaints, and it all goes away. This was at a magistrate hearing. It all worked out much better than I thought it would. I thought I'd have to pay my lawyer more money, and go in front of a judge, who would probably dismiss the criminal and let the civil stay.

The police report was absolutely ridiculous. I thought for sure after hearing the cop read it that I was screwed - there was all sorts of fabrication in there.

I'm glad the magistrate listened to my side of the story.

Phew.

Cheers,
Mike
