Has anyone from CT ever use?????????
Hey guys posting a question for my buddy. His B5 1.8T's theromstat must be stuck closed because after driving for like 45 mins or longer his temp gauge dosen't move. if it was working rigt it should sit in the dead middle but no movement at all. so thats why i feel its stuck closed. has anyone ever changed one? Is it hard to do? Also has anyone from CT ever use Glastonbury Foreign Automobiles or Import Auto Center.

No, but...
The symptoms you describe are more likely to be a thermostat stuck open, but even more likely to be a failed coolant temp. sender (the one for the ECM and the gauge, not the one for the radiator fan).

They scaned my 01 S4 one day for free they are not cheap but you get what you pay for a 1.8T is pretty stright forward top work on, trydoing it your self with your buddy good luck, you live in Gbury? It seems to be more Audi's up there when ever I come to see Family
