Having a bad day:: Speeding ticket question.. Route 20 in Waltham.
Maybe an hour ago I was pointed over from two cops shooting people with Lidar sitting on the side of the road. I was headed East on Route 20 right after the bridge where Rt 20/Rt 60 meet.
I got a speeding ticket. Anyone have any ideas or ways they may be able to help? I was ticketed at 50 in a 30. They were hiding under a tree after a turn right under a 30mph sign.
If nothing else, maybe someone knows the cute brunette that was pulled over at the same time in a black BMW 330i coupe? It looked like she got a ticket too.
Please email me if you have any ideas! If nothing else I'll go to court and hope for the best.

Were you in a 30 mph zone or does the speed limit change to 30mph after the sign?
If you were in a 40mph zone for example and going to drop to a 30mph zone, you might have a case. But if it was 30mph or less, take your chances in court.

I believe it's a constant 30 mph. $200. My record is clean since January 2003.
From what I know, my record is by no means great. At least it doesn't have any wild speeding tickets or any accidents... Let alone arrests.
I suppose it could be worse but it's so annoying. Going 50 in that location doesn't 'feel' too fast at all. It's a four lane road without many houses or sharp turns.
When I left you should have seen him stop and whip his head around, when I first start my car the exhaust has a habit of being very loud and raspy, he did not seem thrilled. I swear I saw 4 more cruisers the next mile- all watching.

I've used a traffic lawyer very successfully for several tickets.
He's gotten me "not responsible" for about 4 out of 5 tickets I've gotten in the last 5-6 years.
