Default How to hit your 5-iron 222yds:

1) Find the tee box
<img src="http://www.cf-cars.com/images/loaf/golf%207-29-06/11th%20-%20tee1.jpg">

2) Find the green
<img src="http://www.cf-cars.com/images/loaf/golf%207-29-06/11th%20-%20tee2.jpg">

3) Swing.

4) Look up at tees from green
<img src="http://www.cf-cars.com/images/loaf/golf%207-29-06/11th%20-%20green.jpg">

5) Realize that you just hit off of a 128ft cliff and ended up on the green. w00t!

NOT a hole you'd want to slice on though...

Default Depends on the wind - Sunday I used a 3 and ended up on the near edge of the green

And yeah, Sugarloaf :-) Lovely course.

Default This is similiar to no. 8 at The Ledges and I think no. 2 or 3 at Sky Meadow

You need to throw a dart a long way.

Default The drop on the 10th is "only" about 80ft

Gorgeous course. I think I'll go back for foliage.

The wind would carry those things to Europe.

Default Rest of the pics

1st tee:

1st fairway, looking back at the tee. Your tee shot should land here:

2nd tee:
<img src="http://www.cf-cars.com/images/loaf/golf%207-29-06/2nd%20-%20tee.jpg">

2nd fairway, looking back at the tee. Your tee shot should land here if you're on steroids and play a fade:

2nd green:

3rd tee:
<img src="http://www.cf-cars.com/images/loaf/golf%207-29-06/3rd%20-%20tee.jpg">

5th tee. Got a little tired of taking pics, so I took a lot less.
<img src="http://www.cf-cars.com/images/loaf/golf%207-29-06/5th%20-%20tee.jpg">

6th tee. Hit straight, and get ready for the uphill.
<img src="http://www.cf-cars.com/images/loaf/golf%207-29-06/6th%20-%20tee.jpg">

6th fairway. You want to hit your tee shot further than this, because you have a big uphill in front of you. The uphill is doable with 4 iron, even though it's only 150yds distance. Course guide said it's something like 50ft uphill, iirc.

6th green, looking back:

10th from the black tee:

10th from the blue tee:

11th tee. Nice view.
<img src="http://www.cf-cars.com/images/loaf/golf%207-29-06/11th%20-%20tee1.jpg">

11th tee again. You can see the green in this pic. Course guide said it's 128ft down.
<img src="http://www.cf-cars.com/images/loaf/golf%207-29-06/11th%20-%20tee2.jpg">

11th green, looking up at the tees:

Those are most of the pics worth seeing. For the rest, I was mostly just screwing around while waiting for the foursome in front of me.

Default Slopes in the distance have me doing a snow dance here.

This week should be the worst of the summer so far. I can't wait! I think I may have to wear my ski boots for a bit tonight ;^)
