Default If you're a NAAC member living in RI, NH, MA and ME: Three weeks left for Nominations!

You can nominate yourself and gather signatures at a social event or around the New England area.

Nominations are due by Saturday November 15th.

We'd LOVE for you to run and get involved in the NAAClub.org group of enthusiasts who run your local track events and do social dinners and events around New England.

Next week we're joining in with the great AW icons from our area with a social dinner at Uno's Grill in Waltham, MA. October 28, 2008 ~6:PM.

Come out and met us all and find out more about your local Audi Chapter!

As a reminder, nominations for the Board of Directors elections are due Saturday November 15th.

The Nominations Form for the 2008 North Atlantic Chapter Board of Director election is available here:

http://www.naaclub.org/file_download/55

The Nominations form is due back to us by November 15th, so please don't delay!

Send the Nominations form to:

Default I hope you guys plan to utilize online voting to determine the ultimate BoD winners...

because there's no way I'm going to print out the ballot form, vote and then mail it somewhere. Or is this the trick to repeat tenure (make it difficult to vote so that the incumbant basically wins)? If so, that's WAY lame and is a sad scenario for the club in general.

Default No trick here. We aren't set up for electronic ballotting, We have talked about it. Decent idea.

<edit:>
I think Chicago does it.

Default I don't think we have the infrastructure to support fair, secure online elections.

However, the ballots will be mailed as part of the newsletter; you won't have to print your own.

The thing to be printed is the nomination form if you wish to run for the Board; I don't think asking a potential candidate to print out a nomination form is too much to ask.

I'm the chair of the nominations committee, and we really do our best to try to encourage participation. I'm a bit disappointed that you think we're somehow trying to maintain a status quo and keep people out.
