You'll hear a buzzing noise from under the hood.
Turn the car on when it's done.
That should be all you need for a throttle body ajustment.

When are you doing the ECU swap??
I wouldn't mind doing the VAG for you. But you would have to come to me (Nashua) and I have VERY little free time...
Let me know.

you also have to use the old coding from the old ECM to code the new one. Not 100% positive though. T.B. adaptation is under basic setting for the engine. Block 060

Directions (after plugging in new chipped ecu):
1) Turn the ignition key to the ON position, but <u>do not</u> start.
2) Leave the key in this position for 3 minutes.
3) This will allow the ECU to relearn the relative throttle positions and prevent possible codes.
4) Turn key to off position, then start engine.
-Pulled this off the APR website
**Brand new ecu's come from the factory with the Cruise Control & ESP turned off, as they were options in Europe. When installed in a CC & ESP equipped 2.7T, the result is a check engine light and the ESP light. If you get this, Vag-Com the ecu to recode it:
With Vag Com, to enable ESP, go to Engine, and then Recode with value 06711
To enable cruise control with Vag Com, go to Engine, and then Login 11463
