They are $5 each right now, but lawmakers are raising that price, so get them now!

EZ Pass

Default It starts on July 11th at the Hooksett tolls... I don't know about Hampton...

From what I have heard, all NH tolls will be accepting EZ Pass by Labor Day.

I really have no idea what is taking so long for the state to install all of them. Perhaps EZ Pass transponder demand is overwhelming them. I know this week, officials had to order 85,000 more transponders to meet demand.

Default At least they did it right the 1st time unlike some states (uhem, Maine)

Let's hope they don't half-*** it. This token issue is becoming an annoyance. Since when do people think they are "entitled" to toll discounts? Hey! Token F'ers - the jig's up! Cough up the scratch and pay your fair share!

Yes, I have an issue with the tokens (and, yes, I have a MA FastLane and a roll of NH tokens) (:0)

Default There's still a 30% discount for NH residents with the EZ Pass

That, combined with speedy toll lanes *crosses fingers*, is a far better deal than the 50% tokens.

Default Maine had their system in place before Fastlane was rolled out

That's just the price they paid for being early adopters.

NH, on the otherhand, actively shunned any method of automated toll collection, even at one point going so far as to have attendants standing in the exact change lines to put your coins in the basket for you.

I agree about the token holders. FWIW, MA was giving discounts to Fastlane users for a while.
