Plus it's fun to watch her smile through grit teeth as people tell her about how much they miss their Coupes, what great cars they are, and how lucky she is to own one.

Thanks to all that came out in force and make a strong showing of Audis. I counted 40 cars on the lawn (including some that left early), but if we were to add in the Audis that came just to look(and parked in the upper lot), I'm sure we'd have had well over 100!
And a special thanks to Declan Mulready who brought the Audi R8, let everyone droll over the car(inside and out), as well as gave a 20 minute talk on the car. To top it off, the Audi R8 was picked as best of show(!). I'll be sending Declan his plaque to hang in his office.![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Again, thanks to all!

now when the R8 and SLR are sitting next to the top dog of the day for Audi/MB...maybe some "Jetson"-like flying car? Will we still be relying on oil?
I hope I'll be able to attend that show! ;-)

My guesses:
It's old.
The doors are too heavy.
The seats are too hard.
It's red.
No heated seats.
While riding in it alone is enough to annoy her, she has taken it to work a few times when her car is down (STFA for "artic wind"), which generally results in walking around the house muttering and banging things. She is short, so once she gets the seat to clutch pedal range she is so close to the wheel that steering is uncomfortable, the shift is almost behind her, and opening the door to get in or out is difficult.
Funny, I have a friend who has one, and his wife is the same way, "Of course, Colleen hates all my cars, but she has a special place in the darkest corner of that hate for the Coupe."

Hey BD - You are my kids hero at AW. He reckons you know just about all there is to know ( He nods in agreement ) and notes the Registration number HVG 585 GP comes out of South Africa in the Gauteng Province... But then you knew that too !
