oh well...it was a great season, and the fact that they got so far in the playoffs...
...after all the injuries, the whole Manny-opera, etc. I think they went beyond what I expected.
It is hard to beat a team that is firing on all eight cylinders...between Tampa's hitting and starting pitching, they are playing very well!
They will represent the AL well in the World Series...I just wish it were the local boys. Next year!!!

Agreed. If you'd have told me we'd lose Schilling, Bucholz, and later Manny and Lowell and still
come within one game of winning the ALCS I'd have said no way.

yeah. Honestly, I expected the Sox to come back and stomp on TB..
But it's hard to discount the Ray's players.. I fully expect the Stienbrenners to attempt to buy the team this winter. =)
