Default loose hose in 2.7t engine???

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/122085/plug2.jpg"></center><p>
the hose starts from rear of engine about 1 inch diameter and turns in to the back wall of engine bay. It then comes through the otherside next to the battery and power steering or brake fluid resevoir??(sorry not sure what it is never fill it so not sure if its the PS or Brake fluid. But the hose in question is hissing when moved?? What the hissing noise?? I have a small evap leak code that started when my timing belt was done.... please help

the hose is the one reverse "L" looking with the Audi rings on it.. has a rubber sealer around it.. noticed the sealer wasn't locked in all the way and when putting it back in noticed the hissing noise

Default How about an arrow to the hose in question? Is it the hose to the heater core?

That would go through the wall between the engine and the battery, and continue through that space, through the real firewall to the heater core.

Seriously, every computer has a "paint" program. Then save as a DIFFERENT name (one letter different okay, then rehost it to link to it.

I see the hose from your description.

i don't know, but "hissing" would be a vacuum line of sorts.

HVAC control head feed?

Default Depends on how much you have to move it to make the noise and where the noise is coming from.

The hard plastic hose plugs into a rubber grommet at the brake booster. Some wiggling there will produce a hiss/leak, but if it's leaking from somewhere else, you might have a cracked hose.

It's not related to your evap issuse. The evap stuff is by the airbox. Check for leaks over there.

Default If it's leaking, replace it.

Who cares what it does. It's cracked, so get another one.
