Hi there!
Just moved from Buffalo to Northampton. Have a 97 A6 Quattro that needs work. Any recs on a independant shop in the Florence/Noho area? Did a search but couldn't find too much info. Thanks!

Call Pelham Auto on the Amherst/Belchertown line. They are by far the best indy shop in the area, and they refuse to work on American cars! I take my car there and let my friend Rick work on it. They are very fairly priced and do good work!

If you were willing to drive up to Greenfield, Greenfield Imported Car Parts (formerly LaBelle & Leitner) has a good reputation. They aren't Audi-specific, but there are always Audis in their cage.
Also, I live in NoHo (Leeds). I have a VAG-COM and lots of the Audi-specific tools. Give a shout if you think there is something I could help with.
Finally, though most people avoid dealerships like the plague, I have to say that Fathers & Sons in Springfield has always treated me well. They may not be the right choice to repair a '97 A6, but I thought I'd give them a plug since dealerships tend to get a bad wrap all the time.
