So after living in Seattle for the past 10 & a half years I'm now going to be moving back home to the Tri-State area (originally from Westchester,NY) and am looking forward to meeting up with everyone at various GTG's, track days etc..
I'm Finalizing my living situation in Stamford this weekend and will be moving there offically as of February 1st.
I've been hanging out on the PCNW forum/Allroad forum and used to spend quite a bit of time on the B5 & B6 S4 forums and have been on AW for about 9 years wayyyy back when it was Jet's A4.pages and A4.org....
I'm not sure if you guys meet up for beers during the week / weekends etc.. but knowing no one it'd be great to learn from the BT around here as to where the good/bad places, social scene etc... would be? Snowboarding/golf/hockey/mtn biking etc...type activities.
I'm a certified track junkie and have instructed for Porsche, Audi, BMW, Alfa, & Lotus clubs for the past 5 years here in the NW and look forward to LimeRock, Watkins, Pocono & NewHampshire etc.. once I get my other car back here after winter. I'm bringing the AR back first.
So enough about that, if anyone has any info/advice on places/sites/things to check out, I'm always interested and looking forward to meeting everyone whenver the next event is.
Thanks!
David.

but there are plenty of CT guys on the forum as well. Most of the recent gatherings in CT have been in Hartford, which is probably closer to Boston than to Stamford, right?
