Default My KII-USB VAG will not work with the 03+ A8s, and I need to disable the TPMS on a 2007 A8L.

Word is that it can be disable via VAG. Does anyone have a VAG with the newer CAN connection that would work on an 07 A8L?

TIA, there will be a case of your favorite beer involved.

Default even if it allows them to have winter tires/wheels b/c they're unwilling to pay the extra money for

a 2nd set of sensors but do want winter tires? IMHO, winter tires are far more important to winter driving safety than TPMS.

Default I know, but I just think of the liability if low pressure causes blowout, and...

...the car's safety device was disabled by me. No thanks...I'll avoid that liability.

Disabling a seat belt chime? Sure, it is also a safety mechanism/reminder, but the lack a seat belt will NOT cause a crash.

Just my two cents. I am just glad that Audi has decided to use ESP programming for TPMS for 2009 and later instead of the sensors. No more worrying about additional sensors for additional wheels

Default That's why you wouldn't do it for an

a55hole lol. No decent person would sue you after you helped disable TPMS at their request.
