Word is that it can be disable via VAG. Does anyone have a VAG with the newer CAN connection that would work on an 07 A8L?
TIA, there will be a case of your favorite beer involved.

even if it allows them to have winter tires/wheels b/c they're unwilling to pay the extra money for
a 2nd set of sensors but do want winter tires? IMHO, winter tires are far more important to winter driving safety than TPMS.

I know, but I just think of the liability if low pressure causes blowout, and...
...the car's safety device was disabled by me. No thanks...I'll avoid that liability.
Disabling a seat belt chime? Sure, it is also a safety mechanism/reminder, but the lack a seat belt will NOT cause a crash.
Just my two cents. I am just glad that Audi has decided to use ESP programming for TPMS for 2009 and later instead of the sensors. No more worrying about additional sensors for additional wheels
