and the dealer is the only place you'll get OEM glass with the Audi stamp on it.

OK, so actually that was 4 words..

They actually farm it out to a local contractor who comes to the dealer and installs the dealer supplied OEM glass. I remember giving the contractor my insurance info over the phone and I paid my deductible to the dealer. I brought it to the dealer for the day and they gave me a ride to and from work in a Porsche Cheyenne.
AFAIK this is the only way to get an OEM windshield.

shines through it, it really makes it hard to see things in front of me.... In my case, this hs been true.
The approach works really well.
Glass company really doesn't care anyway, they want to change out windshields. Once you get past the insurance company, you're good to go.
